Oops…

I’m sorry for not letting you all know, but I left very early this morning to go to a family funeral. I went to the gathering afterward to see everyone including my sister from Colorado so I didn’t get home until late and then I took a nap. Henry just woke me up howling at the Fed Ex guy.

I had intended to write when I got home, but I was tired enough to need the nap. The air in my car turned blue this morning when I let my feelings out while sitting in traffic. A ride which usually takes an hour and a half took me 2 and a half hours. I was five minutes late for the service despite my breaking the land speed record to get there.

Again, I apologize. I know I am as “…constant as the northern star,” so my not writing caused some worry. Thank you for worrying. I do love my Coffee family!!

Enjoy offline life, even if it’s a funeral! Thanks for letting us know.

I understand being stuck in traffic and being ready for a nap. The good part is that the deceased doesn’t care if you are late or even in attendance. 🙂 Glad you got to visit with your Denver sibling.

      Thanks, Bob
It has been couple of years since I last saw my sister Moe.

I needed to attend because her husband is my favorite uncle, my mother’s brother, and my cousins are warm people who were grateful I went.

      Thanks, Rowen

I don’t go up to visit too often, and I haven’t seen my sister from Colorado for a few years. One Colorado nephew was also there. I was so glad to spend some time with my uncle Jack, my favorite of all uncles.

WTF – I only checked the site yesterday 125 times.

Still, the World Cup of 2016 has been announced for the USA, Canada and Mexico…maybe I will post a daily countdown to its return to these shores ? Might be better than trashing Lennie and Joni

24 hours to kick off – the scuffy Russians against the scuffy Saudi Arabians – clearly no horse in that race, but lets get it started

Sorry about that, My Dear Hedley.

I suspect you’ll be counting into astronomical numbers.

Grab a cold one, turn on the TV and enjoy the games!!

Less than a day to go Kat, and the World will stop. (Except for Russia v Saudi Arabia

        MDH,
I have seen the world stop a couple of times. It was once when Brazil was in the finals. Every time Brazil played my high school kids stayed up to watch the whole game. They were zombies the next day.
