A Cape Cod picture? The ocean so near, beaches, it looks beautiful. Too bad that it’s too far away for a bike tour.

The north end of the peninsula, which should be rotated clockwise 90°. Just off the right edge of the image is the town to Truro, and on the left edge is North Truro. The Atlantic is along the top edge and Cape Cod Bay the bottom. The highway is Route 6, which also runs through South Dennis …

Thanks, minicapt, with your description I found it on the map, also the East Coast Greenway near Route 6, a bike trail project from Maine via Cape Cod to Florida. Looks interesting, I just need a year free time and a lottery win. Dreams…

I am a few miles from the Route 6 ramp. We always call it the Mid-Cape, seldom do you hear the 6. Truro is a nice, little town.

The Cape narrows as you go down Cape. We say down Cape if we are heading to Provincetown while up Cape is in the other direction. Some people don’t get it.
We have a superb bike path.
