5 Comments on “Run Rabbit Run: Flanagan and Allen”
The Crazy Gang – Bud and Chesney became a double act crossing the strange chasm between music hall and TV, two very gentle souls from the East End and South of London. After the war Allen quit but Flanagan was around including the theme tune to Dads Army.
Does it get more nostalgic than “Underneath the Arches” or “Maybe its because I’m a Londoner” ? Nah – I had better crank up “London Calling”

MDH,
I was hoping you would like this posting. It seemed like a perfect My Dear Hedley.
They had that music hall sound to me. I really enjoyed this song.
