  1. Hedley Says:

The Chapel dims the lights, it is dark except for the flickering from the candles, and the first voice resonates “Silent Night, Holy Night” and I cry.

      My Dear Hedley,
The world looks so different and wonderful my heart always swells and I too cry.

      • Hedley Says:

Kat, it’s just in that one moment, the memory of those that have gone is overwhelming.
Then the mist lifts and I get back to Mrs Hs excessive pile of gifts. I’ve gotta wrap and I’m feeling the pressure.

Beautiful song and wonderful version – thanks.
I love to sing this song with my chorus, we are
    doing a latin-english-barbershop-version.
The christmas-song that makes me cry is “Mary, did you know?”
sung by the “Gas House Gang”. (Probably it’s here,
but my PC can’t play myspace-audio, so I’m not sure:

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

      Birgit,
It’s there, and I’m listening to it now. I haven’t heard it in a long while. The song is beautiful. Thanks for the link.

Merry Christmas and a bright, wonderful New Year to you too.
