This one came from my friend Pete. He opened my eyes to the talent of Jerry Lee Lewis whom I'd relegated to some forgotten fifties' place. It's from 1973 and The Session.

I’m trying to picture songwriter Gordon Lightfoot meeting piano pumper Jerry Lee Lewis, but my brain can’t compute it!
Kindest greetings, dear friend!

Mark,
It always makes my day when you drop by and visit! You made me wonder exactly what Gordon might have thought. I think Jerry Lee does a credible job with this one.
My love to Peggy!

Well I never! Gotta have it for my blog, iffen I can even find it. It reminded me of a free concert on the Mall when I was growing up and a very new Cat Stevens sang this song with no music accompaniment. It was wonderful and he got a standing ovation.
